Welding/Fabrication
Hours:
Mon-Fri 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
may be some OT in future and if work OT, hours will be 6am-4:30pm or 5:30pm depending on how busy they are
Requirements:
HSD/GED Preferred
Previous welding experience (mig, tig and structural preferred)
Flux core welding experience
Must be able to read blueprints and layout based on blueprints
Must be able to understand more than just weld symbols when reading prints
Use a tape measure
Cutting parts to length
Job Duties:
Measure and mark material to print specification
Bevel tubes/pipe
Weld and cap base plates
Weld clips to columns
Clean and or wire brush welds
Burn through plates and weld
Working knowledge of floor plans
Operate crane
Sort beams to determine job
Cut beams to length and clean
PPE:
Customer will provide hearing and eye protection
Candidate must provide:
Own weld helmet
Tape Measure
Framing squares
Steel Toed Boots
Leather sleeves/chaps
Pliers
