Welder (MIG/TIG/Stick)
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:45pm
Pay: $20/hr+ Depending on experience
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pro Resources is currently hiring a Welder for a long-standing metal manufacturing company in Indianapolis. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, growing team that has been in business since 1954. With approximately 30 employees, this facility offers a hands-on, team-focused environment and strong potential for long-term employment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Fit, prep, and weld materials according to specifications
- Inspect welds and ensure all completed work meets quality standards
- Operate fabrication tools such as grinders, saws, and cutting torches
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures
Schedule & Overtime:
- Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:45pm
- Expected overtime: approximately 10 hours weekly
- Typical Saturday overtime: 4–5 hours
Requirements:
- Previous welding experience (MIG/TIG/Stick) required
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
- Felonies considered on a case-by-case basis with client approval
- Ability to lift, move, and position materials as needed
