Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team in producing high-quality industrial fans. This role focuses on precision welding of thinner gauge materials, with an emphasis on appearance and accuracy. Work is primarily done on a table-top setup—no pipe welding, overhead work, or stick welding required.
Shift and Compensation
- 1st shift
- 5:00am-1:30pm (5am-3pm during busy season)
- Monday-Friday (occasional OT on Saturday)
- $20/hr depending on experience and weld test
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality TIG welding on thinner gauge materials for industrial fan components.
Ensure welds meet both functional strength requirements and visual quality standards.
Operate in a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings as needed.
Conduct visual inspections of completed welds to verify alignment, measurements, and aesthetics.
Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Work Environment:
Approximately 90% table-top welding.
No pipe welding, overhead welding, or stick welding.
Smaller-scale industrial welding with a focus on detail and finish quality.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with TIG welding, preferably on thin gauge metals.
Ability to produce consistent, visually appealing welds.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
Knowledge of welding safety practices and PPE usage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
