Pay: $21.50/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire | Weld Test Required Before Start
We are currently seeking experienced Welders to join a team that builds high-quality structural steel frames, enclosures, and fabricated components based on customer blueprints. If you're dependable, skilled in MIG welding, and ready to grow in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding and finish grinding using proper fabrication techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints to build parts to exact specifications
- Weld mild steel, galvanneal, and stainless steel (18 gauge up to ¼” thickness)
- Assist in TIG welding, saw cutting, dual-action sanding, drilling, and tapping
- Rotate to other departments as needed (finishing, machine operation, etc.)
- Maintain clean, safe, and efficient workspaces
- Must bring your own welding helmet
- Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must pass a written and hands-on welding test (required prior to hire)
- Strong math, reading, and writing skills
- Able to read a tape measure and blueprints
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable standing up to 10 hours, squatting, kneeling, and working on knees for extended periods
