Weld Set-Up Operator
We are seeking experienced weld set up operator for a well-established manufacturer in Angola. This company specializes in producing retail display shelving and custom wire products using both MIG and robotic welding technology.
This is a 60-Day Temp-to-Direct opportunity. Upon direct hire, employees become eligible for a robust benefits package, pay increases, and performance incentives.
Pay Range: $18–$19 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weld Set-Up Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up welding equipment and fixtures according to blueprints and specifications to ensure high-quality production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, be comfortable with measuring tools, and have previous set-up experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams
Use a tape measure and other measuring tools accurately
Set up welding equipment, jigs, and fixtures for production
Ensure correct positioning and alignment of parts for welding
Perform basic quality checks to ensure setup accuracy
Work collaboratively with welders, fabricators, and supervisors
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all company safety and operational procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Prior experience with weld set-up required
Proficient in reading blueprints and using a tape measure
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
Ability to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift
