Job Title: Experienced Welder- Mig and Tig
Location: Lafayette, Indiana

Job Description:

Pro Resources is looking for a highly skilled Welder with a minimum of
3 years of experience in a job shop environment. This role involves working with structural and heavy steel, as well as light gauge welding and grinding. The ideal candidate will possess strong fabrication skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.

Responsibilities:
 Weld mild steel assemblies using MIG welding equipment in accordance with standardized
procedures.
 Perform TIG welding tasks; experience with TIG is preferred but not required.
 Read and interpret technical documents and drawings, including complex blueprints.
 Layout complex weldments without the aid of fixtures and perform welding in all positions.
 Assess and repair welded surfaces, structures, and components to ensure they meet
specifications.
 Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Qualifications:
 Minimum 3 years of experience in a job shop environment.
 Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG welding is a plus.
 Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and measure accurately using a tape measure.
 High school diploma or equivalent; professional certifications such as a welding certificate or
certified welder credentials are highly desirable.
 Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs or more.
 Must be able to pass an in-house weld test.
