6:30am-2:30pm $17.50 M-F with possible overtime
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Inventory Control Specialist Assistant in Lebanon, IN. This role is responsible for ensuring the proper handling, storage, and tracking of materials and products to maximize inventory accuracy, reduce losses, and support efficient operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
Record and reconcile inventory discrepancies and report issues to the Inventory Control Specialist or Manager.
Support data entry of inventory transactions into warehouse management or ERP systems.
Help track incoming and outgoing shipments and verify inventory accuracy.
Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse stock areas.
Support the return, disposal, or transfer of defective or excess inventory.
Collaborate with warehouse staff and purchasing teams to ensure proper inventory flow.
Adhere to company safety and inventory handling procedures.
Help generate inventory reports and maintain filing systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong Math and English comprehension skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.
Preferred:
Prior experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills (Excel, data entry).
Knowledge of inventory best practices and cycle counting procedures.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Forklift certification (if applicable).
