Packline Operator
Location: Butler, IN
Shift:
Second Shift 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Third Shift 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Pay:
$20.00 per hour depending on position, experience, and work history

We are seeking dependable Packline Operators to pack newly slit steel coils for shipment. This is a great opportunity to join a growing steel processing company that values quality, teamwork, and safety. Direct hire opportunities are available for successful candidates.
Job Responsibilities
Package finished slit steel coils according to customer specifications
Apply protective packaging materials and secure coils for shipment
Verify product labels and identification tags
Inspect finished coils for quality before packaging
Operate banding and packaging equipment
Work with overhead cranes and material handling equipment as needed
Maintain accurate production and shipping documentation
Follow all safety and quality standards
Keep the packaging area clean and organized
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
Steel processing experience is a plus
Ability to read work orders and follow packaging instructions
Attention to detail and quality
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
