Position: Production Support/Machine Operator Helper (Third Shift)
Location: Garrett, Indiana
Shift & Compensation:
- Schedule: Sunday -Thursday- every other Friday could be scheduled overtime
- Hours: 9PM to 7AM
- Salary: $21 per hour

Role Overview: The Production Support/Machine Operator Helper plays a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, providing essential support to our EVG Operators and Assistant Operators. This position is ideal for candidates eager to develop their skills in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the EVG Operator and Assistant Operator with daily tasks and machine operation.
- Learn and understand the complete operation of the EVG machinery, including but not limited to reading cut sheets, completing daily production reports, measuring materials accurately, changing dies, and adjusting machine controls.
- Contribute to team efforts by following directions from the EVG Operator and assisting in coordinating daily production activities.
- Support maintenance and supervisory staff in addressing production challenges and equipment maintenance issues.
- Perform various roles within the shop, including:
- EVG Operator: Master the operation of the EVG, manage daily team activities, and work closely with supervisors to meet production goals.
- Assistant EVG Operator: Assist in the full range of EVG operations, collaborate with the EVG Operator and supervisors on production planning.
- EVG Helper: Demonstrate proficiency in using a tape measure, and the ability to lift, pull, and push objects over 50 lbs. Welding and cutting torch experience is required.
Qualifications:
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new roles within the manufacturing process.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and measurements.
- Physical capability to handle manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
- Experience with welding and using a cutting torch is highly desirable.
