Telehandler Forklift
Pro Resources is hiring for a leading agricultural and industrial company, seeking a skilled Telehandler Operator to join their team. As a Telehandler Operator, you will play a crucial role in the operations by safely and efficiently operating a telehandler to handle materials, equipment, and supplies in an agricultural and industrial settings. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth flow of operations, ensuring materials are moved and stored effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the telehandler according to safety standards and procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself, your team, and all personnel on the job site.
Use the telehandler to lift, transport, and place a variety of materials, including feed, fertilizer, grain, equipment, and other agricultural and industrial supplies.
Safely secure and balance loads on the telehandler's forks or attachments, preventing any damage to materials or equipment during transportation.
Perform routine pre-operation and post-operation checks on the telehandler, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the maintenance team.
Work closely with other team members, supervisors, and site managers to coordinate material movements and contribute to the overall efficiency of the operation.
Assist in the organization and storage of materials in designated areas, optimizing space utilization and ensuring easy access for retrieval.
Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including the type and quantity of materials handled, equipment inspections, and any incidents or near misses.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and relevant certification to operate a telehandler.
Proven experience in operating telehandlers or similar heavy machinery, preferably in agricultural or industrial settings.
Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work harmoniously in a team-based environment.
Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing work environments.
Attention to detail, accuracy in load management, and ability to judge distances and weights effectively.
