Shift and Compensation
- 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6-4:15 PM, Friday 6-2:15 PM, Saturday 6-11 AM (OT if needed)
- Compensation is from 31,200 USD to 72,800 USD per year
Job Duties
- Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
- Read part blueprints and documentation to understand machining parameters and programs.
- Operate machines by loading and unloading parts, adjusting settings, and monitoring processes.
- Maintain specifications by observing operations, troubleshooting processes, and replacing worn tools.
- Verify finished work-piece conformance to specifications using measurement tools.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with others to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Background Profile
- 2 years proven experience operating Swiss Machines.
- Proficiency with Star and Tsugami Machines is preferred.
- Machining experience with 316 stainless, aluminum and monel.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles is essential for this role.
- Solid collaboration skills, openness to new ideas, positive attitude and flexibility.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to move from one machine to another to sustain production requirements.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
