Pro Resources is seeking Traveling Installers for a client in Angola, IN. This position comes with opportunities for advancement into an Installation Supervisor role. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with tools, traveling to different job sites, and working as part of a construction/installation crew.
Our client installs commercial awnings, canopies, signs, and related products at customer locations. Candidates do not need previous awning or sign installation experience. Experience in construction, carpentry, general contracting, mechanical work, sign installation, or another hands-on trade can translate well to this position.
Shift and Compensation
- Monday-Friday 8-5 PM + OT
- Compensation is from 45,760 USD to 52,000 USD per year
- Travel time is paid
- Daily per diem provided
- Hotel accommodations are paid
- Overnight bonus of up to $120 per night, depending on the project schedule and length of the assignment

Job Duties
- Travel to customer job sites to install commercial awnings, canopies, signs, and related products
- Use hand and power tools to assemble, drill, mount, and install components
- Read basic prints, engineering drawings, and installation instructions
- Take field measurements and verify job-site conditions
- Make adjustments and troubleshoot installation issues in the field
- Prepare and maintain tools and equipment needed for each project
- Follow all job-site safety requirements and company procedures
- Communicate with project managers, production teams, customers, and other job-site personnel
- Complete required installation and service paperwork
- Represent the company professionally at customer locations
- Travel to various job sites, including overnight stays
Background Profile
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1–2 years of related construction, installation, mechanical, or hands-on trade experience preferred
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to read prints, drawings, or installation instructions
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning new equipment and processes
- Dependable and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions
- Willing and able to travel extensively and stay overnight
- Comfortable working long days and significant overtime
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Valid DOT card and ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol testing
