Shift and Compensation
-1st shift
-Monday-Friday
-7:00am-3:30pm
-Pay: $15.00/hr
Job Duties
-Communicates with transportation company to preclude delays in transit, when appropriate.
-Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
-Determines method of shipment when not defined by Account Manager.
-Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.
-Assembles cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers.
-Inserts items into containers.
-Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto shipping -packages.
-Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
-Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and -communicates with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
-Routes items to receiving shelves.
-Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
-Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
-Marks identification on all materials as required.
-Enters shipping and receiving data in the company’s database.
Background Profile
-Diploma/GED
-Pass shapes assessment
-Associates degree with 6 months to 1 year of related experience in electronics industry.
-Pass a background check.
