- Temp to direct
- 10pm-6am some overtime to be expected, some training on day shift may be required
Duties:
- Locates and distributes material to given location.
- Verifies loading specifics and checks for proper packaging
- Checks trailer condition to ensure safety policies and procedures are followed
- Communicates with truck driver on loading instructions and distribution of weight as per NPS guidelines
- Loads truck using crane or forklift
- Verifies final truckload checklist and returns paperwork to truck driver
- Performs sorting of material and repackaging
- Performs regular safety checks on lifting equipment
- Logs and files daily truck loads
- Operates overhead door
- Directs traffic in and out of the plant
- Accountable for inventory control
- Observes operation of machines and reports any problems requiring corrective or preventative maintenance
- Observe work area used by receiving production crew and assist in maintaining good housekeeping in the area
