Position: Senior CADD Designer
Location: Anderson, Indiana
Duration: 6-month contract (potential for extension)
Experience: Minimum 5 years of related CADD design experience
Responsibilities: As a Senior CADD Designer, you will be responsible for providing hardware and systems designs within product design guidelines, with a specific focus on fluid power and hydraulics applications. Key responsibilities include:
- Communicating product designs through drawings, specifications, and related documents.
- Providing leadership and managing projects to meet objectives.
- Initiating and developing design drawings, ensuring alignment with established guidelines and customer requirements.
- Recommending alternative product and system designs when necessary.
- Evaluating design alternatives, recommending changes that meet production capabilities at favorable costs.
- Participating in project management and leading projects through all phases, from pre-design to fabrication.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent technical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of related CADD design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor (preferred), SolidWorks, or relevant certifications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and agility in an ever-changing work environment.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to perform tasks safely in a fast-paced work environment.
- Willingness to work weekends and extended shifts as required (i.e., 10-12 hours).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for an extended amount of time.
- Comfort working in and/or around loud machinery.
