Pro Resources is hiring for a local company Leading designer and manufacturer of plastic packaging, producing quality thermoformed and injection molded packaging in the food, retail and medical markets.
Shift and Compensation
1st Shift 6am-2 pm $18.00/hr
The Quality Technician is responsible for providing Quality representation and support in the New Product Development (NPD) system and manufacturing process development system. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the execution of effective quality plans, process control plans, process improvement projects and an effective calibration system, providing support of specification development, process developments and process control systems, providing training to support building the capabilities of manufacturing team members and process leaders for using statistical process control tools and problem solving methods for continuous improvement of processes and products.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent;
Ability to read, speak and effective write effectively in the English language;
A minimum of one year of manufacturing experience which includes exposure to quality systems and procedures
Desired Skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn the use of statistical tools for problem solving, process measurement, process control and process improvement processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Statistical analysis.
- Able to make unbiased and consistent decisions concerning product quality or system requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, with the ability to learn statistical charting and graphics programs.
- Understanding of the concept of formal quality systems, Total Quality Management concepts and conducting internal process audits.
- Must be able to plan and direct one’s own work with minimal general direction from others.
- Ability to develop and present training to multiple skill and education level groups.
