Quality Assurance Specialist – Manufacturing
Location: Huntington County, IN Area
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $22.00–$26.00/hr, based on experience

Pro Resources is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist for a full-time, 1st shift opportunity with an established manufacturing company in the Huntington County area. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong eye for detail, enjoys being hands-on in a production environment, and has experience with quality systems, testing, documentation, and compliance.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform quality inspections and testing to ensure products meet established specifications and standards
- Conduct routine quality testing, including pH, viscosity, color, and other product-specific measurements
- Complete pre-operational inspections and environmental monitoring
- Monitor production processes for quality and compliance
- Maintain accurate quality records, documentation, scanning, and filing
- Monitor GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and quality procedures throughout the facility
- Identify quality or compliance concerns and assist with corrective actions
- Investigate quality discrepancies, audit findings, and customer complaints to help determine root cause
- Develop and update SOPs, operating procedures, and quality-related documentation
- Provide training and support to employees regarding quality systems, GMPs, policies, and procedures
- Assist with preparation for internal, third-party, regulatory, and customer audits
- Work closely with production and other departments to maintain consistent quality standards
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or related manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, quality systems, or audit processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete documentation
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other basic computer programs
- Ability to read and follow written procedures, safety requirements, and operating instructions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also partnering with production and other departments
Physical & Work Environment:
This is a hands-on position within a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods, working around production equipment, and occasionally lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 50 lbs.
