Quality Assurance Inspector
Night shift - 12 hour, 2-2-3 schedule, 6pm - 6:30am
$19/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and experience working with inspection tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using various measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Document inspection results, create reports, and record non-conformance findings.
- Communicate defects, deviations, and quality concerns to the production team, management, and suppliers.
- Assist with the development and implementation of quality control procedures and best practices.
- Perform routine audits of production processes to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all safety guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in quality control or related fields is a plus.
· Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or production environments. 1 to 3 years relevant work experience a plus.
· Strong communication, computer, problem solving, and decision making skills required.
· Ability to drive powered industrial truck preferred.
