Purchasing Manager – Direct Hire
Location: Columbia City, IN
Pay: $60,000–$80,000 per year (based on experience)
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

Pro Resources is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager for a well-established manufacturer in Columbia City, IN. This is a direct hire opportunity with a respected company that values teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a purchasing or materials management team, a strong understanding of MRP systems, and a passion for process accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of approximately five employees.
Manage inventory planning, accuracy, and purchasing functions.
Run and maintain MRP processes and system accuracy.
Oversee purchase order entry and ensure timely material delivery.
Expedite materials as needed to support production schedules.
Conduct cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
Monitor material costing and slow-moving inventory.
Collaborate with production, operations, and finance teams to support company goals.
What You’ll Bring
Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain management, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
Leadership experience with proven team management skills.
Strong knowledge of MRP and inventory control systems.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Schedule and Compensation
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
Pay Range: $60,000–$80,000 annually (based on experience)
