Youth Business Service Representative
Full-Time | $45,000–$50,000/year | Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm | Travel within Region required
Are you passionate about helping young people find meaningful career opportunities? Join our team as a Youth Business Service Representative and play a pivotal role in connecting youth with internships, job shadows, work experiences, and employment opportunities that align with their goals.
In this role, you’ll be the bridge between local employers and youth enrolled in WIOA-funded programs, serving youth that are both In-School Youth and Out-of-School Youth. You’ll develop partnerships, promote career pathways, and help prepare the next generation for the workforce — all while strengthening community and business connections.
What You’ll Do
Build strong relationships with employers, educators, and community partners.
Secure paid and unpaid work-based learning opportunities for youth.
Match participants with opportunities based on skills, interests, and readiness.
Collaborate with Youth Engagement Specialists to prepare youth for success.
Monitor and support youth during placements, providing coaching and feedback.
Promote youth employment programs at meetings, events, and job fairs.
Ensure compliance with WIOA guidelines and maintain accurate documentation.
Travel throughout the region to engage with employers, partners, and youth.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in workforce development, education, business, social work, or related field (preferred).
Experience working with youth or in workforce development.
Strong communication, outreach, and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of internships, apprenticeships, and youth workforce programs a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay & Schedule
45,000 - 50,000+ year, based on experience
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (in office)
Regular travel within the region
