Cost Accountant (Long-Term Temporary) – Lafayette, IN
Pay: $33.65–$40.87/hour (based on experience & education)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, regular business hours

Pro Resources is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to support a large manufacturing operation in Lafayette, IN. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys digging into cost analysis, forecasting, and SAP data management.
What You’ll Do
Prepare, analyze, and report sales and material cost for month-end close, monthly forecasts, and annual budgets
Manage finance activities related to a designated product line
Develop and analyze standard freight, labor, and overhead rates
Update and release standard costs in SAP annually
Cost and release new part numbers in SAP; generate costing reports for variance analysis
Maintain profitability reporting by customer and part number
Complete cost studies and business cases for new or updated products
Serve as the finance lead for the annual physical inventory process
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA/CMA or similar certification preferred (not required)
At least 3 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills
SAP experience required
Power BI experience preferred but not required
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
