Office Assistant
Starting Pay: $16 per hour
Hours: 7:30AM – 4:30PM
Temporary role (covering a leave), with potential for long-term placement
Job Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable team player to assist our Sales Team with day-to-day tasks. This position is mainly focused on helping with mailings, assembling materials, and keeping things organized. It’s a hands-on role that involves packing envelopes, shipping materials, and supporting basic office tasks.
What You’ll Do:
- Stuff envelopes, assemble folders, and package materials for mailings and events
- Help with shipping materials to conferences, meetings, and church events
- Organize and track printed items like brochures, flyers, and sales packets
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Update address lists and basic contact info in our system (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Assist with light data entry and keeping files organized
- Help prepare for on-site meetings by packing materials and supplies
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams for seasonal mail projects
- Lift, carry, and move boxes of books and materials (up to 50 lbs.)
- Other general office and warehouse tasks as needed
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in an office, warehouse, or mailroom setting is helpful
- Good attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Comfortable following simple instructions and routines
- Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Word/Excel)
- Able to work on your feet, bend, lift, and move boxes throughout the day
- Comfortable working in a faith-based environment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
