Shift and Compensation
- 1st Shift M-F 7:00am-3:30pm
- Pay based on experience
Job Duties:
• Perform related duties as assigned by Management
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Ensure the team is following all company policies and procedures
• Developing, documenting, and maintaining of processes, standard work, and quality standards
• Ensure department is achieving expected levels of safety, quality, and productivity
• Daily department scheduling and staffing levels
• Perform Process Audits
• Apply tools from Lean Manufacturing to solve problems and make improvements
• Provide a timely response to all internal and external customer needs and issues
• Ensure all 6S/TPM are followed through to completion
• Mentor Team Leaders and associates in continuous improvement, problem solving, and leadership
• Initiate interdepartmental communication and a spirit of cooperation
• Interviewing, hiring and onboarding new employees in the Weld and Fabrication departments
• Maintaining employee attendance and payroll records
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years leadership experience, or equivalent work experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Demonstrates computer skills and aptitude, Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer contact skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrates punctual, reliable, and predictable attendance
• (Preferred) 2 years of welding or weld quality experience
• (Preferred) 2 years of supervisory or management experience
• (Preferred) training or experience in interpreting engineering prints and weld symbols
• (Preferred) experience with laser/press brake operation
