Shift and Compensation
- 1st Shift Monday-Friday 5:30 AM-2 PM
- Pay: $19 / hour
Job Duties
- Assist the Plant Manager in reviewing and distributing production and work schedules.
- Enter completed work orders in system to compile reports on the progress of work, inventory levels and production problems.
- Create and maintain bills of material (BOM) in TIW and create and maintain parts in SBT.
- Generate and distribute work orders to production floor, calculating special sizes on work orders.
- Enter completed work orders, inventory variances during inventory and many miscellaneous reports as required by production management.
- Understand the processes and uses of material to determine best structure for part numbering schemes and ability to determine the best layout for the BOM setup, controlling the flow of work orders using independent judgment.
- Production Support
- Visually look at material to understand uses and basic applications
- Work with floor personnel on flow of materials and problems with routing to understand how the materials should flow in the computer system
- Trouble shoot inventory problems and collect information to correct problem areas
- Work with the team on new product setups and part conversions
Background Profile
- 1-2 Years’ related experience in production scheduling and/or production planning or manufacturing office environment
- Computer: Microsoft Suite, specifically Outlook and Excel, SBT, TIW, data entry and typing
- Strong math skills
