ProResources Staffing is currently seeking Production candidates for a client located in Plymouth, IN! The objectives of this position are the production of fruit preparation; cooling of fruit preparation; and filling of fruit preparation into containers. Performs duties and responsibilities for the business unit consistent with company goals and business unit. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to include Safety, Quality, Productivity, Customer Service, and Continuous Improvement.
Shift and Compensation
-Day Shift, 5: 00am - 5: 00pm (Current mandatory overtime)
-Night Shift, 5: 00pm - 5: 00am (Current mandatory overtime)
-$12.00 / Hourly from 0 - 30 days
-$12.50 / Hourly from 31 - 60 days
-$13.00 / Hourly from 61 days to hire
-Fill/dump carts into cooking funnel upstairs per HMI screen/recipe
-Uses hoist to dump carts weighing up to 800 lbs including cart weight
-Ensures line number on cart tag matches line being dumped & keeps track of those recipe items requiring multiple carts i.E sugar, fruit etc.
-Applies lot stickers to recipes for trace-ability
-Performs the mixing of various powders or solutions under 100 lbs.
-Responsible for dumping fruit, sugar & thickening agents per daily recipes/HMI screen
-Monitors length of time starches & pectin's weight before dumping & stir checks for gummies or foreign material
-Understands the HMI screen and can perform tasks associated with cooking recipes, cleaning functions and acknowledging functions
-Montiors the cooking process through HMI screen and records temperatures, time etc.
-Monitor HMI screen for any operational or mechanical issues and notify lead immediately
-Maintains recipe records
-Follows Day Plan and Shift Lead direction on proper cooker cleaning, chemical cleaning, sterilizing of lines
-Cleaning of lines may occur when switching to new recipes/different fruit
-Ensure vacuum tests and dirty test totes done per procedure/frequency and turns paper work into Lead
-Cleans & sterilizes the Coolers in accordance with the Day Plan & Shift Lead direction
-Monitor transfer of product from cooker to cooler
-Checks lot tag on flavor kegs and matches to recipe paperwork before hooking up keg to dose line
-Ensure kegs are dosed at correct time and temperature per HMI screen
-Uses walkie lift to set an empty tote at cook line, then connects fill line to bottom valve of tote and also attaches air line to tote lid
-Steams fill line by turning top valve on fill line
-Operator lifts tote with spider hoist and enters in fill weight
-Operator presses connect on HMI screen then sprays tote lid to check for leaks. All no pressure totes are labeled and returned to Container Wash.
-Responsible for taking samples and cooling down the sample to the prescribed temperature before testing pH & brix.
-Notifies Shift Lead or Cook Lead if test results for Brix and or pH are out of specification and makes adjustments per their recommendation
-Sieves are checked by operator every 2 cooking per cooler for foreign material
-With walkie lift removes full tote from production line and ensure tote has production label and moves to CVS staging area
-Maintains a shift report throughout each cooking
-Fills out the Production Data Sheet (PDS)
-Operator sprays out fill line to prepare for the next tote
-Connects the empty containers to the filling lines
-Cleans the devices in accordance with the daily plan
-Must be physically able to push and pull carts of product weighing up to 800 lbs.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
-Operate a forklift and climb on ladders and portable stairways
-Must be physically able to use large wrenches and other tools in performing minor maintenance functions
-Constant standing and/or walking on concrete floors are required
-Must be able to use body members to work, move, lift, slide, push or carry heavy objects or materials
-Physical demand requirements are at levels of those for active work
-Computer literacy is required
-Mechanical abilities are desired
-Must have reliable transportation
