Job Description

Pro Resources has partnered with MAAX in Plymouth and is currently seeking production candidates for experienced and entry level fiberglass positions. Opportunities include, but are not limited to Roller, Final Finish, Chopper, Geller, and Pull & Trim.   In these positions, candidates are encouraged to learn and grow with the company, so it is imperative that those interested demonstrate a willingness and drive to improve upon their current skill set.    Positions are available at most stages of the production process and training is provided, as needed, to meet production demands. 

Shift and Compensation
  • 1st (5: 00am-1: 30pm), 2nd (1pm-9: 30pm) and 3rd (9pm-5: 30am)  shifts available
  • $10.50-$12.50/hr - Depending on shift and position

Primary Responsibilities
  • Each position has different responsibilities, but all participate in part of the fiberglass manufacturing process
  • Repairing, buffing, polishing, rolling, final finish
  • Work by following specific job instructions, frequently reading written instructions and following verbal instructions.
  • Wear proper PPE and work safely according to instructions and policies
  • Maintain and participate in keeping personal work area, shop, and tools clean and safe
  • Use various techniques to prepare surfaces for next step in production process
  • Some application of fiberglass materials, depending on position

Background Profile
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
  • Fiberglass experience a plus!
  • No Diploma/No GED required.
  • Candidates should be safety-minded and eager to learn.
  • Candidates should be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
  • Some heavy lifting required, depending on the position.
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Ability to follow and understand all safety and quality standards at all times, including chemical handling standards and PPE
  • Understand and follow verbal and written directions
  • ability to use hand and pneumatic tools, buffers, and abrasive sanding tools/supplies
  • Ability to work with fellow coworkers in close proximity and in a team environment displaying mutual respect
