- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Must be able to train on any shift.
Pay: $21.50/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Powder Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packing rods into boxes, powdering material, and performing tasks that require physical stamina and attention to detail. This role requires excellent math skills, proficiency with measurements, and a high level of detail orientation. The ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and operate basic tools and equipment is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut rods to specific measurements with precision.
- Pack rods efficiently and securely into boxes.
- Safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs throughout the shift.
- Use measurements, calipers, and tape measures accurately.
- Operate packing and wrapping equipment and utilize basic hand tools.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Must submit to a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Must be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking during the shift.
- Must wear metatarsal shoes/boots, safety glasses, and earplugs at all times.
