Job Description:  Part-time RESEA Coordinator

Location:  WorkOne Elkhart, IN

Part Time Position: 24 hours/week

The Reemployment Services Program is designed to assist profiled claimants through an early intervention to aid individuals in a quicker return to meaningful employment, assist in reduction of fraudulent claims, and provide a savings to the Unemployment fund.


Serve as local WorkOne RESEA Grant Coordinator, works with the selected participants and coordinates the efforts between Unemployment Insurance (UI), Wagner Peyser (WP) Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA), staff, and other WorkOne Partners in each targeted office.

Specific Duties May Include:

Formally reports to designated Regional Operator or Partner Staff leadership

Schedule, coordinate and facilitate (group or individual) meetings, orientations, and assessments

Conduct (group or individual) training sessions

Assists job seekers to develop Individual Reemployment Plans (IRP)

Interviews and assesses customer s individual needs to determine appropriate path for Workflow:

Job-to-Job, or Job-to-Training-to-Job; including ascertaining the need for additional assessment

(TABE Survey) for possible referral to Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes

Informs and promotes the services available through WorkOne and their service partners

Records and processes all pertinent data related to the RESEA grant in the Case Management System, Excel or Word documents and any other designated reports as appropriate

Submits any Failed to Participate (FTP) documentation to UI

Corrects any service entry or reporting errors

Refers the customer to the appropriate next step for services and products if necessary

Conducts follow up and 45 day program completion review

Some travel, as required

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Core knowledge (or the ability to quickly learn) the TABE survey, C-TORQ, Excel/ Word Mail-Merge process, Labor Market Information (LMI), Indiana Career Explorer (ICE), and Indiana Career Connect (ICC) tools.

Three (3) years full-time professional experience in business administration, human resource administration, public administration, public relations, social services, workforce development, vocational counseling, psychological testing, state or federal employment service program or related experience.
