Job Summary
As a member of our Powder Coat Line team, the Painter is responsible for supporting the production process through a combination of tasks including loading/unloading parts, operating machinery, and ensuring product quality. This role involves repetitive movement, lifting, and the use of air tools in a climate-controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure production of quality parts that meet specifications.
Meet customer requirements in both product results and packaging.
Accurately label materials and products.
Complete SIPs, scrap reports, and other required documentation with precision.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Promptly notify the Supervisor, Group Lead, or Quality personnel of any processing issues.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Previous experience in painting or powder coating is helpful.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive reaching motions above shoulder height.
Basic computer skills for label creation.
Education & Experience
Additional Information
Work involves rotating between 4 painters every hour.
The paint room is climate-controlled.
Use of air tools may be required.
