Job Summary:
As a Packer/Shipper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are carefully prepared and efficiently delivered to our valued clients. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for a variety of hands-on tasks, from meticulously packing and labeling orders to coordinating the safe and timely shipment of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carefully pack and wrap products according to company standards and customer specifications
- Operate packaging equipment, such as shrink wrap machines and label printers, to prepare orders for shipment
- Accurately read and interpret shipping documents, including blueprints and manifests
- Lable printing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient workflow
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a packing, shipping, or warehousing role
- Proficiency in using packaging equipment and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
