Tool Room Tech
Pay:$18.00-$20.00 with $2 shift differential for night shift
Job Type: Full-time M-F 12 hours shift – some weekends.
Job Description:
We are looking for someone who can set the pace and look ahead at our job board and be prepared for the next job. This person must be organized and willing to step up and be ready by pulling and staging tools and prepare backup tooling to eliminate down time of our machines.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to receive completed jobs from productions and record numbers.
- Able to issue new jobs to production.
- Mechanically skilled, able to read micrometers and calipers.
- Knowledge of basic shop environment and how different tools operate.
- Knowledge and ability to set washer tracks and part feeder bowls.
- Ability to read tooling prints and tool cards.
- Attention to details and cleanliness.
- Excellent organizations skills
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Previous experience in similar role, or willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand for long hours.
- Problem-solving and organizational skills.
- High School diploma or similar required.
- Must be able to pass physical, background check and drug screen.
