Material Handler/Water Spider Associate – 1st Shift

Pro Resources has partnered with a local zipper manufacturer and is looking for a Material Handler/Water Spider Associate.
Hours:
7:30am-4:00pm M-F
Pay:
$18 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Material Handler/Water Spider Associate to join our production team. This position provides production and packaging materials for the production units. This position stocks lineside storage areas and racks and manages material flow of finished goods back into the warehouse for processing. This position is a hybrid role that is also utilized for standard Shipping/Receiving assignments when all current production needs are met. Specific examples are making sure zipper chain, tape, boxes, sliders and other components are stocked in appropriate quantities on the floor so that operators do not go out looking for materials and can focus on building product, grabbing finished goods and processing them out of production into the warehouse, and organizing WIP areas to make sure product is stored neatly line side.
Key Responsibilities:
- pick the necessary parts for work orders
- make sure that machine operators have everything at their machine to keep production moving without interruptions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor immediately
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies
Qualifications:
- High attention to detail and strong focus on quality
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
- Good work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
- Required: Prior experience in a manufacturing or production setting
