Material Handler – Shipping/Receiving & Paint

Starting Pay: $21.00/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Material Handler to support our Shipping/Receiving and Paint departments. This is a hands-on position requiring forklift operation, material movement, and use of barcode scanning systems. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift safely and obtain/maintain forklift certification
- Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, parts, racks, and materials
- Support material movement for the Paint department
- Learn and use barcode scanning systems efficiently
- Track parts using part numbers, status tags, and rack organization
- Work effectively in various weather conditions
- Collaborate with team members and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures
- Work overtime as needed to meet production and shipping schedules
Requirements:
- Fork truck (forklift) experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Self-motivated and dependable team player
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety
- Ability to learn internal systems (part numbers, tags, racks, scanners)
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for overtime when required
