Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Marine Pack Assembler. In this role, you will assist in the assembly of marine packs and related components, following detailed instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards. No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
Pay and Hours:
- $15.00
- 7am-4:00pm
- Located in Fort Wayne, IN
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble marine packs and sub-assemblies using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or assembly instructions
- Inspect completed products for quality and accuracy
- Ensure all parts are assembled according to company specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist in inventory checks and material handling as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 year or more of experience in packing materials for shipment
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of tools and mechanical skills is a plus
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
