Pro Resources is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician for a client in Selma, IN. The Maintenance Technician would be responsible to provide support on mechanical maintenance of equipment. Shift and Compensation
- 1st Shift (Some OT and Saturdays as Needed)
- Pay is up to $25 per hour
Job Duties
- Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
- Inspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation and for defects such as loose connections and frayed wires.
- Install repaired equipment in various settings.
- Converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems and to determine what the root cause of the issue is.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as greasing, cleaning, and repairing equipment, to detect and prevent problems.
- Set up and test industrial equipment to ensure that it functions properly.
- Repair and adjust equipment, machines, and defective components, replacing worn parts.
- Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, and tests.
- Other various maintenance tasks
Background Profile
- ** Electrical and Welding Experience preferred **
- Must understand and practice preventative maintenance.
- High School diploma and/or equivalent required.
- 6+ years Maintenance experience preferred.
