Job Description

Pro Resources is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for a client in Fort Wayne, IN. The Maintenance Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining machinery through preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting machine break downs and completing repairs in a safe and timely manner.

Shift and Compensation

2nd Shift 2PM-10 ON
$19-28/hr

Job Duties

Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment specific to the printing industry (i.e. Binders, Stitchers, Presses, Bailers, etc.)
Complete routinely scheduled PM’s.
Communicate clearly and efficiently with management, staff and peers.
Is proactive in obtaining input from team and operators regarding machine operations.
Document daily activities (Experience working with a CMMS preferred
Promotes and maintains a safe work environment by following local and national codes, standards, and legal regulations.
Maintains inventory level of spare parts with a CMMS, placing orders and verifying receipt.
Adheres to all safety guidelines including PPE, LOTOTO, Best Practices

Background Profile

Minimum 6 months industrial maintenance experience in a high volume, fast paced manufacturing environment
Experience with printing/bindery equipment preferred
High School diploma or equivalent (Trade or Technical Education preferred)
Ability to read and interpret various machine drawings and schematics (i.e. Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic)
Basic PLC and VFD Troubleshooting
Use of hand and power tools specific to the industrial maintenance industry
