Shift and Compensation
- Monday-Thursday 6-4:30 PM
- $20-25/hr
Job Duties
- Facilitate process set-up and start-up as needed
- Collaborate with other functional departmental managers in the scheduling of downtime and preventive maintenance (PM) repairs
- Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment.
Uses blueprints, manuals, and verbal instructions to troubleshoot operational and production difficulties, and take corrective actions
Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools
Maintain facility infrastructure (basic plumbing and electrical services, repair building damage as necessary)
Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Background Profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years related experience and/or training; with experience in all phases of maintenance (ie: mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, etc.)
- Good communication skills and a contributing team member to others
