Maintenance Technician
Requirements
Degree as Industrial mechanics; Engineering mechanics; Mechatronics; Technician preferred
Several years of work experience in an automated manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
International experience appreciated
Familiar with blow molding process and machines;
Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic and electric systems
Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Must approach a structured and well organized work flow
Knowledge in Lean tools, 6S, A3, PDCA, TPM,...
Be in current role for at least 6 months
Have no active disciplines on file
Responsibilities
Machining (e.g. milling, drilling, grinding, throwing) as well as non-cutting operations (eg. bending, trueing) is part of the daily job
Assemble functional components, connect measurement equipment to work units and implement control systems in operating machines
Define and document work and service instructions
Check and test machine functions
Service and maintain blow molding machines, downlines, cooling stations, welding machines, leak tester, ect.
Adjust and update machine functions and movements
Execute troubleshooting for machine functions and automated process steps
Continuously improve automation and support preventive maintenance
Support SMED activities
Improve existing production lines and manufacturing processes
Gather, document and analyze machine performance data
Other duties as assigned
