Maintenance Technician/ Mechanic
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00am–3:45pm, Monday–Friday
Pay: $24-26/hr+ Depending on experience
Type: Direct Hire
Overtime: Expect ~10 hours per week, including 4–5 hours on Saturdays
Pro Resources is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician / Mechanic for a long-standing metal manufacturing facility in Indianapolis. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting abilities who enjoys keeping machinery running safely and efficiently.
Job Duties:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
Troubleshoot CNC machines, manual machines, and related production tools
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair records
Assist with equipment installs, adjustments, and general improvements
Coordinate with production to eliminate or reduce downtime
Follow all safety procedures and participate in monthly safety training
Requirements:
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of CNC and manual Machine operations is preferred
Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial controls.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
HS Diploma or GED
Felonies considered on a case-by-case basis with client approval
Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays
