Position: Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)
Pay: Based on experience
Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm Mon- Fri (overtime as needed)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production by performing machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance. This role is hands-on, ensuring that equipment is running safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform emergency and scheduled repairs on production equipment.
- Set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs of repairs, work orders, and preventive maintenance.
- Comply with OSHA safety and health regulations.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical training preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 6 months–1 year of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical documents and safety rules.
- Basic math and reasoning skills; able to apply problem-solving on the floor.
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, email).
- Ability to hear alarms/horns and work safely around machinery.
- Physically able to walk, handle materials, and work in a manufacturing environment.
