Shift and Compensation
- 3rd Shift 11 PM-7 AM
- Compensation is from 68,340 USD to 74,880 USD per year
Job Duties
- Work with plant machine operators to properly maintain manufacturing equipment.
- Fabricate parts to tolerances shown on blue prints with lathes, mill and surface grinders.
- Work with junior mechanics to train on safe work practices.
- Own and know the proper use of complete set of hand tools.
- Work in difficult positions, above floor level and consisting of climbing, stooping, reaching around equipment in tight quarters.
- Ability to move/lift up to 100 lbs on occasion
- Use ladders when required.
- Handle and dispose of waste/trash (hazardous or other) as assigned.
- Must keep up to date on the operation of plant safety and fire equipment.
Background Profile
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able repair all manufacturing equipment, heating equipment and lighting systems.
Must be able to troubleshoot live AC/DC circuits up to 480 volts. - Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, with the ability to respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objective and the ability to work shifts for plant conditions
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Lift 40 lbs from floor, bend, twist, climb, crawl.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Attention to detail and good math skills required.
