Pro Resources Staffing is seeking a skilled and motivated 1st Shift Maintenance Technician, preferably bilingual, to join our client's thriving team in Indianapolis. Job Status: DIRECT HIRE
Pay: $25-30/hr
Hours: 7am-3:30pm, M-F
Responsibilities:
- Configuration of liquid filling equipment and bottle labeling equipment.
- Diagnose and Perform repairs and troubleshoot malfunctions promptly, utilizing your technical knowledge to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
- Utilize your bilingual skills to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other personnel, facilitating seamless collaboration and understanding.
- Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records, including work logs, repair reports, and parts inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others at all times.
- Types of equipment that we regularly need fixed include:
- Bottle filling & labeling equipment - decent electrical knowledge ideal for diagnosing and working with sensors and PLCs on the machines.
- Positive displacement pumps
- Motors & Drives
- Gearboxes, shafts, bearings & seals on industrial mixing tanks
- Routine Grease / Lubrication
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, with a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to read schematics and use various hand tools and testing instruments.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to adhering to safety standards at all times.
