Maintenance Helper

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Helper to join our team. This position supports the maintenance department by assisting with general maintenance tasks, including mowing, machine setup, and driving a box truck for various transportation needs. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to take on a wide range of duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive company box truck to transport equipment, tools, or materials to and from job sites or customer locations
- Perform yard maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and general landscaping duties
- Assist with setup, teardown, and relocation of machines and equipment
- Support maintenance staff with routine repairs, preventative maintenance and facility upkeep
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shop and storage areas
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required but a plus)
- Experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred
- Ability to operate lawn equipment and basic power tools
- Basic mechanical aptitude; previous maintenance experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, with occasional overtime as needed
