Maintenance Helper
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (with occasional overtime)
Pay: $18.00/hour
Job Summary:
We’re hiring a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Helper to join our team! In this role, you'll support our maintenance department with a variety of hands-on tasks—from mowing and equipment setup to assisting with general repairs and driving our company box truck (once hired on). We're looking for someone dependable, safety-minded, and mechanically inclined who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with general maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep
Perform yard work including mowing, trimming, and landscaping
Help with machine setup, relocation, and teardown
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the maintenance shop and storage areas
Drive a company box truck to transport equipment and tools (once hired on)
Safely operate basic hand and power tools
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Complete other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Facilities Manager
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (required to pass insurance approval for box truck operation)
Experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles (preferred)
Ability to use lawn care tools and basic maintenance equipment
Mechanically inclined; prior maintenance experience is a plus
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Additional Info:
Candidates will need to meet driving eligibility, though driving duties will begin after permanent hire.
This role is temp-to-hire, but we are open to direct hire for the right candidate.
