Pro Resources is seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Helper/Blade Grinder candidate. This individual will perform maintenance on machines to provide for the least amount of downtime with maximum efficiency for a company located in Fort Wayne, IN.
Pay:$18.00
Hours: 6am-2pm
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Check operation of machines, troubleshoot mechanical problems, and repair equipment using various tools and equipment,
- Repair, preventive maintenance, and calibration of equipment.
- Back-up blade grinder
- Responsible for keeping area clean and complying with all safety rules and requirements.
Additional Functions:
- Perform grounds maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
High School diploma with a requirement to work towards an associate’s degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or related field, within 6 months of hire date and show regular progress. Ability to lift to 75# on a regular basis; bend, stoop, climb, crawl, and reach. Operate a mill or lathe, welding, and HVAC experience would be a plus, but not required. Able to work a flexible shift schedule, be reliable and in good attendance standings. Good verbal communication and ability to use sound judgement and to make sound decisions.
