Pro Resources Staffing Services has current openings in Winamac, IN. We are currently recruiting for mechanically-inclined individuals that are willing to grow and advance their skills to become Maintenance Technicians! Plymouth Tube is also willing to train and expand skill-sets for dedicated individuals to join their team! Shift and Compensation -$12.50/hour, after 60 days -Upon hire, pay will increase to $16.04/hour+, with increases every 6 months for 2 years -Positions afternoon or midnight -Train on days, including weekends -(New Maintenance Technicians will spend time with the weekend crew to gain more in-depth exposure to the job and hands-on practice.) -Benefits Union shop -UAW 30 day wait period for benefits -Medical: 2 PPO plans (Preferred Provider Organization) -Can open FSA (Flexible Spending Account) -One HDHP (High Deductible Health Plan) -Can contribute to HSA (Health Savings Account) and an LPFSA (Limited Purpose Flex Spending Account) -Dental/Vision, Short Term Disability, Voluntary, Long Term Disability -Life Insurance -401K -Vacation after one year of service -Engagement Program -Incentive Pay 3% monthly, if following the Program-Gain Share Job Duties -Performs the preventative and routine maintenance of machines and mechanical processes, to ensure best practices and optimum equipment reliability. -Complies with all safety, quality, customer focus, and housekeeping standards. -Performs proper routine and preventative maintenance of facility grounds and buildings. -Maintains inventories of maintenance material, supplies, and repair parts at required levels by initiating requests for purchase -Periodically reviews inventory for proper upkeep at plant facilities. -Recommends equipment and process improvements to improve efficiency and/or achieve cost reductions. -Communicate via proper documentation to supervisor and appropriate management resources regarding quality and equipment problems, issues and concerns. -Wear required safety equipment and adhere to all company policies and handbooks. -Follow all applicable procedures and instructions including but not limited to: preventative and routine maintenance, troubleshooting, process improvements, reporting of time and materials consumed, as well as actively support business practices set forth by Plymouth Tube Co, its employees, contractors and all other available resources. -Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment. -Work within work groups and teams to support the sustainability and continuous improvement of Plymouth Tube Company and all stakeholders. -Other tasks as assigned. -Model Plymouth Tube values and behaviors as outlined in the Mission Statement. -Represent Plymouth Tube in a professional manner. -Follow all company Environmental and Safety policies, procedures and standards. -Follow all company Quality Standards. Background Profile -High School Diploma or equivalent -Previous manufacturing experience -Must be able to complete an extensive background check -Must be able to work on/off shift
