Shift and Compensation
- 2nd Shift 11 AM-7 PM
- Pay : $25 / hour
Job Duties
- Setting up and operating CNC equipment such as lathes and mills.
- May be asked to complete minor writing or editing of CNC programs.
- Manufacture of parts for routed orders.
- Record measurements per customer and company requirements.
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility CNC equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair company equipment as able.
- Maintain records for measurement and maintenance.
- Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
- Communicate with operators from other shifts.
- Maintain and secure work tools.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
- Maintain stock of tools and tooling.
- Other duties as assigned.
Background Profile
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic reading, writing, and some advanced arithmetic skills required.
- Experience using one or more of the following tools: lathe, milling machine, drill press, and vertical/horizontal cut off saw is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics supplied by customer.
- Ability to read measurements using calipers and other measurement tools.
