MIG Welder
Location- Brookston, IN
We are currently seeking a skilled MIG welder to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Assemble/ product to print specifications.
Maintain Daily Performance Charts accurately.
Perform appropriate 5-S and PM requirements.
Perform work per Standard Work meeting takt time requirements.
Maintain MRS Systems used.
Must be willing to cross-train, and/or fill in as required.
Use tools to eliminate waste and improve quality.
Meet or exceed individual/area goals.
Weld parts as needed for production.
Support Time Available and not be in the Disciplinary Action Status.
Notify Team Leader of any shortages of materials needed to complete scheduled jobs.
Communicate quality problems to supervision.
Assist in the Continual Improvement of the cell using the tools.
Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety rules and regulations.
Knowledge and Skill Required:
Quality Driven to consistently produce parts to print specification.
Ability to read blueprints.
Pass qualification for welders.
Self-starter with a history of adding value by personal initiative.
Team player – participates, praises, and encourages others.
Problem solver – ability to logically think through problems to help identify the root cause.
Ability to build to a prescribed system on a repetitive basis.
Continuous improvement oriented.
Safety conscious.
Good attendance record.
Ability to read/understand measuring instruments used in that area.
