Pro Resources is staffing for a Loom Machine Operator in Williamsport, IN. As a Loom Machine Operator, you will operate and maintain loom equipment used to weave the fabric components of industrial hose products. This role supports production goals, ensures quality output, and helps maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor loom machines to produce woven hose jackets according to specifications.
Load yarns and replace cones/spools as needed to maintain continuous weaving.
Check product quality and visual appearance; adjust machine settings to correct defects.
Perform routine machine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, basic adjustments).
Record production counts, machine performance, and any quality issues.
Follow all company safety and quality standards.
Assist team members with other production tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in machine operation is required
Mechanical aptitude and ability to make minor machine adjustments.
Attention to detail to detect weaving quality issues.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 lbs.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
