Shift and Compensation
- 1st Shift
- 7:00am-4:00pm
- Monday-Friday
- $21.00/hr
Job Duties
- Possess thorough knowledge of Donaldson shipping procedures, authorized carriers, packing list
- requirements, shipment markings, and packaging.
- Prepare export documents required for international shipments.
- Arrange transportation to meet customer requirements.
- Generate Bills of Lading, process and transmit daily shipping documents.
- Track and trace package shipments.
- Prepare packaging for international shipments.
- Classify and apply correct values and obtain country of origin for dutiable shipments.
- Resolve shipping complaints.
- Prepare various reports as needed.
- Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments and orders
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all shipping paperwork
- Communicate effectively with all plant personnel and external customers
- Operate a powered industrial truck and pallet jack in a safe and efficient manner; provide daily care and
- preventative maintenance as needed
- Demonstrate the ability to complete standardized duties and tasks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- A minimum of one (1) year related experience
- Ability to work overtime as required by the business
- A minimum of one (1) year of Forklift experience and certification
- Hazmat Ground Shipper Certification (DOT) or the ability to obtain it within 60 days of hire
